Anansi & Autopsia

anansi autopsiaAnansi and Autopsia have been tying together for over a year with a focus on intimate and energetic exchange. They believe that rope doesn’t always require seriousness and instead encourage the use of rope as a tool for playfulness and connection. Anansi, a rope switch, has been handling rope since 2018 and honed her skills with self-suspensions and the help of her trusted local queer and BiPOC bottoms. She has shared her rope knowledge locally and internationally, and continues to learn as she connects with other shibari enthusiasts. Anansi’s physicality and awareness of body mechanics is a major component to her tying, allowing for psychosomatic rope experiences. Anansi is building a BiPOC and queer community in the Detroit rope scene with plans to open a community space centering queer and diverse bodies practicing rope in the future. Autopsia has been bottoming in rope for three years and has a passion for learning more. She enjoys rope that is connective, challenging, and sometimes confusing. Autopsia ties her kink and professional life together to advocate for kink education, community building, and acknowledging the nuanced perspectives of physical and emotional processing.
