Tension With Intention (Rope) Shakti Bliss & Honey

In this class Bliss will begin with some rope handling drills that will help you practice movement and tension. These exercises are fun and allow you be engaged with your partner as you practice them. We will repeat simple exercises while changing our communication in the rope with varying tension, speed and emotion. After practicing those drills and really breaking the ice with our partners and in the room (this usually has some silliness involved) we will then use those skills we have been working on to engage in a single rope tie with our partners. Many times referred to as "ichinawa", which translates to "one rope", we will see how much affect we can have in a moment or connection with just one little piece of rope and how much we can change the story and sensation for our partner based on how we choose to apply the rope. This class is suitable for all levels. Students should have one length of rope.
