From Neophyte to Nawashi
Whether you're a newbie or an experienced rigger, join us for a three hour intensive that will take you through basic ties & safety and guide you to an understanding of how we rope enthusiasts use this particular tool to connect and transmit energy with our partner.

During the first portion of the class, employing our It's Just Not That Difficult™ approach, we will examine the fundamental ties and components of various forms, then see how they can be put together in a scene that can incorporate corporal, sex, pain, or just rope alone! It is our intent to show you how to think rope, and discover that the only limitation to what you can do with it is your imagination and creativity.

About the Presenter: Phoenix Eddy coordinates the Raleigh/ Durham chapter of the international group Rope Bite, has contributed to many local & regional events and groups like Debauchery, La Fortress, THLC, Rope Practice Raleigh, NCLC, AIS, and is committed to studying & exploring the technical, sensory, psychological, spiritual and aesthetic aspects of Bondage, D/s, Age Play, Sacred Sexuality, and various other methods of intimate exchange; it gives him a tremendous amount of gratification and enjoyment to share the information, techniques, observations and experiences he's gathered along this journey. In his presentations, he strives to create a comfortable, relaxed learning environment for all genders, orientations and experience levels, while endeavoring to help people learn to think and play creatively, often incorporating a deeper meaning or alternate perspective on the topic being presented.
