I'm deeply involved in BDSM as a lifestyle, a profession, and a topic for academic research. I finished my PhD last year, and am still readjusting to life outside of academics. Master Konrad (Southwest Master 2006) has been actively involved with power exchange relationships and SM for most of his adult life. Konrad has consciously influenced his approach to SM and power exchange relationships with principles and techniques gleaned from sport science, western law and law enforcement, martial arts and his religious path.
